Well, I would probably just stay right in the airport at the Hyatt that is located there. It is virtually in the airport. Eat at Pappadeux's in the airport as well. The hotel is quiet, you won't hear the airplanes. Of course, there are other places around. I assume you meant DFW and not DAL. Dallas has two airports.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency DFW (there is also a Grand Hyatt there). It was excellent, great sized rooms and fabulous bathrooms. Plus the restaurant on the main level was excellent. Try the gelato!

Correction, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt not the Hyatt Regency. Sorry!

Here's another vote for the Grand Hyatt at DFW - right in Terminal D. We stay there several times a year on trips in/out of DFW and always have a great stay. Very comfortable well appointed rooms, friendly staff and an excellent restaurant (very surprising for a hotel in an airport). You can also ask for a TSA Security Pass which will allow you access into the Main Terminal area where you have your choice of several different restaurants. Very convenient for the flight out the next day - the TSA checkpoint is only steps from the elevator/escalator and if your plane is departing from one of the other terminals you can either take a shuttle bus from the hotel to the other terminal or clear the TSA checkpoint by the hotel and take the Air Tram (inside security) to your departure gate.

DFW is not really in Dallas. You are somewhat near Grapevine area. What I mean is that you would need to rent a car to go into Dallas, a cab would cost you a lot.

Thank you. The Grand Hyatt is the new one?
