Da Vinci Machines exhibit

This is presently in Denver having already been in St. Louis - has anyone seen it? If so, did you like it? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks~

I saw the exhibit in the da Vinci museum in Vinci (before it moved to Florence).

It was fascinating -- basically they undertook to build everything in da Vinci's sketchbooks. There are lots of ingenious devices that work by pulleys or cranks or whatever.

Since the models are modern (not antiques), it is ok to turn the cranks and wind the winches. (The flying machine was hands-off, however.)

I think anybody with an interest in technology or the history of science would enjoy it.

We saw it in Lucca and eventhough it might not have been the whole exhibit I thought it was just OKAY.

We did see it and thought it was very interesting and informative. We got tickets for half price thru Groupon, which made it a real deal. daVinci was a genius, way WAY ahead of his time and also probably had ADD, as he left many things unfinished. This is worth a look see, not sure where it is heading after Denver.
