Da Vinci (again)

I've reservations for the Da Vinci in March. There have been quite a few posts (including mine) asking if someone has first-hand experience. Perhaps someone has been there since the last post? Thank you.

Hi. we don't know where this is from the information in your post--perhaps if you repost with the name of the city --"Da Vinci hotel in _____" someone could help. ( I looked at this post out od curiosity--wasn't sure if you were talking about art or the airport in Rome!)

Hello, I knew you were talking about the Da Vinci Hotel in NYC on west 56th street because I saw your post on the New York/USA board (stands to reason you weren't talking about art or airports in Italy . . .) Anyway, I have reservations at the hotel in April and it would be great to hear from someone who has stayed there. Web site is nice (but that could be deceiving . . .) and the rates are very reasonable and seem to include a breakfast - and even if that is just coffee and a bagel that is a huge plus to have it included in the rate. Can anyone add some credible information? Thank you.

Ann--some people may not realize that there is no "New York/USA board"-- you may pick NY as a "keyword" when you start a message, but that only helps separate the posts when you search for specific posts, not when you first go to the Fodor's USA board. All US posts are together, hence the confusion when someone isn't specific in the title of their message
(besides, you'd be surprised how many people post questions on the wrong board--even US instead of Europe--, plus who knows what other cities have hotels or maybe a restaurant (Etal isn't very specific, if you read again) named Da Vinci!

oh boy - here we go again. I've seen this happen WAY too many times. Stop bickering about how a post was or was not listed, or how another user searches on topics. If a post really bothers you (or the post is too confusing for you to figure out) - ignore it. If you have a valid response - great!- please share it with us, if not, please move on. Now, can anybody assist Etal with the Da Vinci Hotel on 56th Street in New York, USA?

I haven't seen any "bickering" on this thread, just some helpful suggestions.
Why is it considered rude to help someone get the best results out an admittedly imperfect system?
In the meantime, this keeps the message alive for Etal
