D.C. restaurants near Kennedy Center

Any suggestions for restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk?

Their website has a list of restaurants and the distance from the Kennedy Center.

I haven't been to any of them but it might be a good place to start until somebody else makes a recommendation.

Although I work here, I rarely stay downtown in the evening.

Check out www.washingtonpost.com. At the very bottom you can link to Express Night out which is the entertainment section of washington post. It will have reviews of a bunch of places within walking distance of Kennedy center and you can decide which one is best for you.

The Kennedy Center has a couple restaurants. I've never thought they were great, but they are always crowded.

In the same location as Kinkeads there is an Au Bon Pain and a Pizza Place

Circle Bistro has great food and an urban chic vibe. Kaz Sushi is also close by and has great sushi. Sequoia has a gorgeous view and outside seating if the weather is nice, but indifferent food.

Thanks all

We ended up at the 600 at Watergate.

If you are using Metro, eat somewhere near the Foggy Bottom stop and then take the shuttle from Foggy Bottom to the Kennedy Center. I have to say the entire KC area is not the best for restaurants.

Alternatively, eat elsewhere and then Metro over to Foggy Bottom and take the shuttle.

We enjoyed a terrific Italian dinner at Notti Bianchi, which is just a few blocks from the Kennedy Center. We took the Metro in from downtown DC. It came quite highly rated and didn't fail. It is in a small hotel and doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service was great, and the food and beverages were top notch. Enjoy!

With reference to the last post, the correct spelling is Notti Bianche. However, I see that I didn't read all the way through the posts, and that you have already eaten at the 600. Oh well, for another time, perhaps.

I have also heard that Marcel's is very nice.
