D.C. Airports

I know where Ronald Reagan (DCA) is and I know where Dulles (IAD) is but where is WAS? Is it closer than Dulles? I can get the same fare to IAD and WAS but I never knew of a third airport. Thanks!

WAS is an abbreviation which includes all of them. You can use it on some search engines, but not all.

The third airport is BWI.

Yes, some travel sights will just use WAS as a destination, but will search for both airports.

A "WAS" search includes three different airports: National, Dulles and BWI (Baltimore, but only about 5 miles farther from the Capitol than dulles is).

The "W" in BWI stands for Washington. It's a 30-minute bus ride from the Greenbelt Metro station.
