Wow! A real fave among many on this board! I know that it will be missed.

Dang! I quickly tried to get a reservation for our upcoming trip, but couldn't get one online. Will try calling. Thans for the heads up.

We ate there twice. The first time, almost four years ago, was probably the best meal and restaurant experience I had ever had up until that point. It was amazing. I hope the chef takes a good rest and then goes on to create something equally as wonderful. He has great talent.

Les Mars hotel is partially owned by Bill Foley. He's sort of a real estate version of our boy Mitt.

Leveraged buyouts to the max.

He sounds like a modern day Jess Jackson. If Jackson, also a lawyer, didn't get what he wanted, he sued and sued and sued. William P. Foley II to the max.

Jess even sued his own winemaker for intellectual property. In this case it was for what the winemaker knew about winemaking.
His winemaker, Jed Steele, was barred from working at a winery for 5 years because of Jackson's lawsuit.
