Culinary School Vacations

Has anyone every attended one of those cooking schools where you go there on vacation for about a week, cook & eat fabulous food? I know that there are a few on the west coast. Any recommendtations would be appreciated. -Kate

Not sure by your post whether you're looking for something on the West Coast or not, but I know of one on the East Coast.

A friend of mine spent a week at the Culinary Institute of America in unpstate NY and said it was great and that he'd go again.

There was a great thread on this subject a few months ago. Do a search for culinary school or eliabeth seibert.

Jim - I hadn't really limited myself regionally. I'm in the southeast. NE is preferable to west coast, though. Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.
-Kate
