Cruise ship parking in NYC

Hi,
Going on a curise out of NYC in a few weeks. Parking at Pier 92 is $18.00 a day. That seems reasonable. Is there parking close by that is even cheaper?
Thanks,
Glen

I don't understand, are you parking your cruise ship at the pier?

There might be some a little cheaper. The key question is: "How safe is the lot?" Before leaving your car, make sure the lot is secure at night (i.e., fenced in and gate and/or a 24-hour attendant, etc.).

18 bucks is a very good deal. You don't mention where you are coming from. Have you looked at a car service or a neighbor's kid to run you in and out? It might be cheaper and easier.

Wow! $18 is dirt cheap for Manhattan.

Hi,
To answer some of the follow-up questions to my posting...
1. I don't have a cruise ship that needs to be parked.
2. I'll be traveling in from Pennsylvania.
3. I've done some checking around, and you are correct... $18 a day is a good deal. I was just being cheap.

Thanks for all of the help!

Glen
