cruise questions

I understand that there is a 7 day cruise that goes around the islands. (approx $800 per adult) If me, my spouse, another adult and our 2 young children (under 4 & 2) go, will everyone be charged full price? Are there any reductions for 2 cabins or additional people, etc. Is this cheaper than staying in a hotel, condo etc.?

That would be the Hawaiian islands?

Generally the first two people in a cabin will be charged the same price, the third or fourth less. Check with a travel agent about family plans or group discounts.

Figure $200 per adult per day minimum for most cruises, plus travel to the departure port. All meals are included but booze, off-boat excursions, sodas, tips and the casino add up. Will it be less than a hotel or condo? Depends.

Normally the least expensive way to travel in Hawaii (especially with 5 people) would be a condo. It will safe your food bill as well.

Cruises are the BEST bang for your buck you'll find, anywhere. You are charged full price for the first two and cheaper for the third and fourth, assuming you are all staying in one room. Not sure if children are cheaper, but I don't think so. The best part of Cruising is that you get to visit more then one place, they sail when you are asleep, no jet-lag, no lugging bags, no customs at every stop, fantastic food and service, and a constant menu of things to do everyday on and off the ship.
