I am cruising out of ft. lauderdale in april 2003. Would like a suggestion as to a decent hotel close to cruise line dock ( Celebrity ). Thanks

There is a Hampton Inn close to the docks that provides free shuttle from airport to hotel and hotel to pier. You will get names of more hotels at http://www.cruise-addicts.com/forums/

We stayed at Marriott's Springhill Suites. They have a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and to the pier. Fabulous continental breakfast included in their room rate. Fairly new property. we stayed at the Ft Lauderdale Embassy Suites, which was very nice-(family of 5) and they have a great full course breakfast included in the room rate--very close to the cruise docks-

We stayed at the Best Western just over the 17th St. Causeway bridge, they also pick you up at the airport and drop you at the cruise ship. Very reasonable, clean. Enjoy.
