Cross stitch stores in Portland?

I'll be in Portland on business later this month and would like to find a good cross stitch store. There used to be a great one in Lake Oswego, but I've heard it's gone now. I'd like a store that carries a LOT of stuff, not just you're plain old craft store. Can anyone help?

I know nothing about cross stitching, but I know there's a store off Burnside in Norwest Portland in the Uptown Shopping Center. It's right next to Faces Unlimited if you need the address.

Just wanted to point out that the store off of Burnside is actually a needlepoint store and doesn't offer any cross stitch items.

Maybe you could pull up listings for cross stitch stores on yahoo yellow pages and then do a little calling and see if any of them sound like they're worth a visit.

While they don't really carry cross stitch stuff, if you're in Portland and enjoy sewing, you need to make a stop at Daisy Kingdom near downtown. Fun store and lots to see. Out near the airport area, there's also a very large fabric store known as Fabric Depot.

Any help out there for Sylvia?
