Cross between Mohonk & Caeser's Pocono Resorts?
Hubby & I looking for a 3 night getaway from NJ shore for Sept or Oct... Must have an indoor pool and fitness facilities. We would also like a fireplace in our room, beautiful grounds - hiking on premises or nearby. Maybe some evening entertainment as well. Prefer that casual feel compared to fine elegant stuffiness.
THANKS!

Very funny Aduchamp1 At least you bumped this up ;-)
I just wish we oould find a lovely rustic - but classy lodge with beautiful grounds, lots to do, some entertainment at night - great food -
Do not want a stuffy place where men need to wear jackets at dinner (been there, done that on cruises).
Thanks
Lisa

If the Berkshires aren't too far I suggest you look into Cranwell Resort - www.cranwell.com
Plus, you can't beat the Berkshires at that time of year.
