Crop pants in Paris this spring??
For those who are fashion savvy or who have been in Paris recently are crop pants the "in" thing? I am debating whether to buy a pair for my upcoming trip in May or just stick to regular pants. I'll also be in Amsterdam for 3 days.

This is my barometer. When my almost 70 year old mother starts wearing something 'trendy', I retire that fashion. My mother started wearing capris a couple of years ago. Same for cargo pants. What about a nice skirt? |
I saw sooo many women wearing pants that did not quite make it to the ankle, with boots. They are showing cropped pants in the stores as well as the light delicate girly things we are seeing here in our stores.
Do you think cropped pants will be warm enough in May? It was so cold in Paris this past week...brrrr :) |
LOL GoTravel- I learned many years ago that when my mom showed me some new article of clothing she had bought that I should have my response be pretty subdued, or she would buy one just like it for me! <G>

Thanks guys! I was kind of thinking it might be too chilly for crop pants, but this time of year you see them all over the place (in Texas.) Above all, I want to look my best and crop pants may not do it.

I went to France in May last year and felt my crop pants were perfect for the south of France...but not Paris.
My uniform for Paris - black pants - actually black jeans with a bit of stretch. My uniform for Provence and the Riveria - crop pants Style-wise and temperature-wise, I don't think the crop pants are the best bet for Paris. |
