i'll have to look for that place, thanks.

so are the nightmare stories about the Hancock true? sounds like the food/service are pretty weak for the price, but i was thinking of just going there for a drink or two (and the view). i've read online reviews of people have to wait forever to get up there, even with a reservation. but who knows...

We ate lunch there one Saturday on a previous visit. They have a buffett or you can order off the menu.

I ordered off the menu and don't remember what I had but I do not remember being disappointed. I also don't remember the bill being very high. We treated our friends who were hosting us.

It was March and not very crowded. I was VERY pregnant and remember the experience being very relaxing, maybe because I didn't have a diaper bag or our two-year-old with us. (Is that the humor you were looking for?) The views are wonderful and I think we stayed about 2 hours. Never felt rushed. I think you guys should call about their Sunday brunch and give it a try.

There is NOTHING to eat at Navy Pier. Bubba Gump's is fun for a beer and appetizers but I don't think their food is anything special.

Have fun!

as of now, looks like sunday will by sunny 74, and monday cloudy 61.

it would still be okay to do the architectural river tour on a cloudy monday as long as it's not raining, right?

still deciding which day to do which stuff.
