crippled in honolulu

hi! In a couple of weeks I will be traveling to Honolulu, staying at the Hilton H. Village. We're using my husbands Hilton Honors points. Here's my question: I have MS, which limits my mobility. I will be bringing my wheelchair, but usually I can hobble around alright with a cane, but not too far. I also will be bringing my kids, 5 and 9. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend which part of this huge place would be best to request, given these crazy parameters. I don't really care so much about the view from the room, I am mainly concerned with accessibility to beach and pool. Thanks!

Hi Shannon!
I can't answer your question, but besides posting here, I'd suggest you call the hotel directly - NOT the central booking 800 number - and explain. Actually, I'd call twice. Ask the desk clerk one day, and a concierge or guest services rep another day and time! It's too important an issue that will directly affect your good time.
Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
