crashing waves in keys?

Planning on going to the Keys in April. I think I will be staying in Islamorada but I have been wondering....Is there anyplace where waves crash on the shore. That is one of my favorite things about Fla , sitting on the balcony hearing that sound. Seems pretty calm when I look over condo pictures.

Hate to disappoint you, but there are no crashing waves in the keys.

The water is pretty flat in the Keys.

You'll have to head north on the east side of Florida. Around by Melbourne, Cocoa, or Indiatlantic. Book when there's a storm coming, that should make it quite choppy.

Go to the Keys next hurricane season. You'll get all the crashing waves you little heart could desire.

Especially during "hurricane parties". Enjoyed one on Anastacia Beach one time :-)

Thats what I thought. I guess what I am looking for is a condo where I can sit on my balcony and see the ocean maybe some dolphins if I am lucky.
Any suggestions?

You probably need to be on a floor that is above the tree line to see the ocean. At least the third floor.

Don't worry, you can hear the ocean.
