Crab restaurants near Silver Springs MD
 

I will be going to the Michigan-Maryland football game in November. Are there any recommended crab restaurants nearby? I am looking for a place to pick crabs and drink beer.

Depending upon when in Nov. Maryland Blue crab season ends Nov 20 or so. After that you can get ones from further south. Sorry can't help you witht he where in Silver Spring. I am assuming you want hardshells, not crabcakes.

Hello, we like Captain Pell's in Fairfax & QuarterDeck in Arlington. They are about 30 mins from Silver Spring. There are also good crab places in St. Michael's (St. Michael's Crab House) or Harris Crab House (about 1 hr away from Silver Spring).

Crisfield Seafood. St Michaels has excellent seafood. Annapolis has some great seafood, Cantlers is more for steamed crabs. Oysters are good that time of year. You're making me miss the eastern shore.

Closer to Silver Spring is the Bethesda Crab House.

They will not have local crabs that late in the year. They hardly are getting any this summer for some odd reason.
