Cozy places in Sedona Flagstaff & G.C
We are planning a 5 day stay in these areas rhe 1st week of April. We would prefer smaller but nice properties rather than huge resorts. Looking in the $ 200 range.Anyone know of great inns and B & B's?

"Enchantment" in Sedona is beautiful & cozy. If you plan to stay right in the Canyon, there are several hotels. The best is, I think, called "Angel". It's very rustic, no a/c (not really needed there), but the view is unbelievable - and also the sunrise/set. Spectacular!

If you don't like resorts, my advice to you about lodging in Sedona is to head up there and ask around at the different cabin type accommodations. There are so many. Most are small complexes directly off of the road and above the river (or creek depending on what time of year).
The last time we did this we had no trouble finding accommodations. We stopped at a few we thought were cute and wound up at one with a king bed, indoor hot tub and beautiful deck that hung through the forest canopy. I think it was $65 per night in September.

I can't remember the name. It was three years ago but I used to live in Phoenix so we would go up every other month or so. One reason for the good rate may be because we just drove up and asked around. The properties may have been discounted becasue they knew that no one had reservations for that room for that night.
Good luck. Sedona is amazing!
