We enjoyed a Sunday brunch before we flew home. The buffet gave us a chance to try some regional food we hadn't yet sampled on our long weekend/first visit. I was surprised that I loved bananas foster. The omelet station was backed up but otherwise it didn't take long to go thru the buffet. The courtyard was very pretty in the morning and the music wasn't too loud and of course, the mimosas were great.

Is the brunch served daily or just on Sundays?

Definitely go there for Sunday brunch! It is fabulous!

Of the two choices you gave, brunch is certainly preferable in my opinion because dinner will be better at lots of other places. But given my choice, I'd just visit the Ct of 2 Sis in late afternoon for early cocktails before dinner somewhere else.

Also, I don't know where else you might be eating, but most of the typical fare at NOLA restaurant isn't very authentic to New Orleans. However, if you search the menu you'll find some traditional favorites most of the time. Dickie Brennan's has a bit more of the old classics to offer. Not that either of these restaurants are bad -- just that I wouldn't classify them as having "typical" regional fare.

Hi-I would visit 2 Sisters when you can spend the least amount of money. I like the cocktail idea. This was a huge disappointment (like many other famous aka tourist places). I was actually sorry we went. I felt like I was run through a factory. One of the best things we did in New Orleans was take a cooking class one morning -- it was fabulous - homemade gumbo, bread pudding to die for, and pralines. Yum-the New Orleans School of Cooking.

HORRIBLE food. Nice setting. You decide which is more important!

yes, not very good ... but nice setting.

Dan's right. There's no good time to eat at the Court of Two Sisters. It's a great place to enjoy a drink, but the quality of the food peaked about 30 years ago. There are TONS of wonderful restaurants in New Orleans! Try someplace else.
