cottage on Nantucket help!
 

We are a family with an almost three year old looking for a remote cottage with water views and very close walks to child friendly beach on Nantucket. Can you recommend? Thanks!

A remote area of Nantucket that I love is Sconset. There are some very reasonable basic cottage style homes that are close walking distance to both the water and the quaint village and pretty reasonable (1500-2500/week). Search for 2 bedroom homes / Coffin Real Estate / Nantucket. We were in Nantucket last summer on another part of the island, and this is where I would choose to stay next with my 2 small children. Also try Jordan Real Estate, weneedavacation.com and cyberrentals.com. Waterviews are pricey, but you could get one from a very small cottage for $3000/week or even less in 'Sconset, Madaket or Ouidnet.

I love 'Sconset too, just remember that it's a hike from town. Good luck and get going, it's late to book for Ack!
