Wow - great list Debit. On the way to Telluride, we've tried Tequila's before and a brew pub whose name I don't remember on Main Street and enjoyed them both.

UPDATE:
Cortez-
Main Street Brewery, new owners, food is suffering.
Spruce Tree Coffeehouse - still tops
Joey's - gone
Mama Ree's - gone
Neros' - still the best choice for dinner
Pepperheads - 44 West Main Street new, nice space, expensive for what it is, HOT stuff
Stonefish Sushi - 16 W Main St - didn't check this one out. Honestly, you are in the middle of the southwest, no water in sight, not where I want to have fish.

Dolores -
Ponderosa - had a take out dinner from there, it was awful. Tasteless and bland. Forget it. Had ok breakfast there.

That's what's new.

Debit, my theory exactly when it comes to seafood - stick to the coasts!

Getting ready to leave next week for 4 corners trip. One last few questions.Check to see if this is doable
When we arrive in Albuquerque stay 1st night
Next day head to Gallup for 2nd night
Cortez the 3rd and 4th night.
Durango the 5th and 6th night
Santa Fe for the last night.
Head back to Albuquerque for flight home.
Please check to see if this is doable and which highway to take from Durango back through Santa Fe and to Albuquerque
Thanks for all your help.

Stonefish Sushi in Cortez is really the best place in town. Great chef and great offerings.

Thanks for the suggestions that everyone offered on our trip to New Mexico and the 4 Corners.
Day 1 We did a loop starting in Albuquerque. Old town was neat. Impressed by how nice the Native Americans are all over the state.
Day 2 We left Albuquerque headed to Gallup. Stopped and toured The Acoma Sky Pueblos. Bus up and steps down!
Stopped a couple of other places along the way.
Day 3 Headed to Cortez by way of Shiprock. Went to 4 Corners and Monument Valley and Mexican Hat.
Day 4 and 5 in Cortez. It takes about all day to do Mesa Verde.
We ate at a Restaurant with a beautiful view.It was inside the park. We toured The Cliff Palace and Balcony House and top Loop Road. Wanna know a bummer? We were so fortunate to get into the Park. A few days later the entire Park closed because of the Shutdown!. I feel for the people that had plans of a lifetime to see that interesting place.
Day 6 Left Cortez and Headed to Durango, Col. Rode the bus to Silverton and the Narrow Gauge Railroad back to Durango.
That was LONG BUT GREAT!
Day 7 We spent the night in Farmington and left to head back by way of Santa Fe.
We went to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and Canyon Road
Day 8 Back to Albuquerque and Southwest Airlines to South Carolina.

DebitNM Thanks for telling me to take a few more days.
