Cool new website to post/read trip reports

I?ve created a new site out of a need for a centralized place to post and read trip reports from vacations. It has search features that allow you to look up trip reports by destination, by theme, or by user. You don?t need to be a member to read them, but you need to register to post. Registration is free, though.

I?ve also included lots of good travel information, like currency converters, cruise ship floor plans and virtual tours, travel publications, travel advisories, etc. No message board, yet, but maybe in the future if there is enough interest.

So come check it out and let me know what you think!

This is a very well done trip report site... brand new and in need of some reports... let's support by posting old & new TR's.

Thanks gingers!

Really well done gingers. I'll post a report from this fall once we're back (Eastern Europe).

Mya I make a small, non-technical suggestion? The issue came up on the Europe board here about sites that centered around user based photo/travelogue sites. Tt was pointed out that many of these sites have text in their TOS that give them permanent/unrestricted rights to user's content. That seems to back quite a few people away. You could use that to your advantage, if you don't plan to do the same in yout Terms of Service. Not trading away one's writing and photos for web space and interface is a big plus to many people.

Thanks, Clifton, that's a great idea, and I will put that forth.

I definately want to make it clear to users that I'm not a big corporation trying wrangle them out of their reports and pics or anything. I'm just a mom working from home creating a site, and hoping it will take off so that I continue to work from home! =) I don't definately want my members to understand that they retain exclusive rights to their intellectual property and photos.

Thanks everyone for your replies, and thanks for the suggestions!
