Cool laptop case?
Can anyone recommend a cool but still functional laptop computer case? I used to haul one of those bulky modified briefcases, but now I'd like something sleeker and better-looking, for my sleeker and better-looking laptop, natch! It should be easy to carry through airports and security, protect the laptop, and hold a few extras like power cords and the like. I know Fodorites will have opinions! Thanks in advance.

So far, the coolest I've found is made by acmemade. www.acmemade.com I've asked for one for my birthday!

One other site you might want to check out are the cases from Water Field Designs

www.ebags.com has a pretty big selection. I got a Mobile Edge microfiber tote and love it - much better than my former Tumi briefcase. It holds the laptop and plenty of other things, but still fits under an airline seat.

Check out Tumi.com. They have a great selection, very lightweight and stylish. Norstrom's also carries a decent selection of their line... but not the full line.

Yeah, Acme bags are really awesome, slender and gorgeous, although I didn't buy one. http://acmemade.com/bags.html
I bought a laptop bag from Manhattan Portage that I love, very roomy and sturdy. It's a messenger bag that has a padded laptop pocket inside. http://www.manhattanportage.com/catalog/index.php These are awesome too, and they look like purses! http://mobileedge.com/products.asp?cid=6&scid=6 These are nice and very expensive: http://talenereilly.com/TR.html And here's some more: http://www.markaonline.com/Default.asp?Redirected=Y http://casauri.com/ It took me a while to find these sites, to actually find cool laptop cases. Enjoy shopping! love roxy |
Wow, you guys rock, thanks so much!! I've got my shopping cut out for me...I hope I can find some at a store nearby, b/c it helps to get one's hands on things like this, but the websites are a big help. Thanks again!
