Connection to Boston

Southwest flies into Providence RI for a very decent price. Will I find transportation to Boston from the Prov. airport. Bus? Difficult to do?

Sure, the Bonanza Bus company runs from the airport to Boston.

http://www.bonanzabus.com/bospro.htm

If you are really making a connecting flight in Boston, the road time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

I've been told Providence to Boston on the MBTA Commuter Train is $9. Check out the MBTA website for schedules.

MBTA website doesn't show Providence at all. Would love a rail connection if possible. Thanks.

The MBTA web site should show the Providence line as one of their "commuter rail" options. The schedule is very limited, and on weekends, the train only goes as far as Attleboro, MA.

Also, the "Providence" airport, T.F. Green Airport, isn't really in Providence, it's south of it in Warwick, so you'd still have to get from the airport into the Providence train station, and that plus the transfer hassle could easily double your travel time.
