Vegas???

Wendy Jan 6th, 2002 10:14 AM

If you are talking about vegas I would choose Treasure Island.

jean Jan 6th, 2002 10:30 AM

I am talking about vegas and why Treasure Island?

I have stayed at the TI 3 times and have always had great service, felt the pool area was one of the best, loved the restaurants, casino, etc. It is also connected to the Mirage by a train service. It's right across from the Ventian and the pirate ship show in front is lots of fun!!

This one's not even close jean.
Unless you wish to avoid all that is the Las Vegas strip, TI has it all over MSS. Rooms recently redone, great location, good prices, nice casino etc etc.
Have you ever been to MSS? I find it depressing, dingy, dark, smelly.
If you want lots of details, go to www.cheapovegas.com and www.lvol.com

I'll second the comment that unless you have a reason to NOT be on the Strip, then TI is a better choice.

No need to think about it... TI!!

If you're asking this question, it obviously is your first trip to Vegas, and you therefore want to be on the main part of the stip, and centrally located.

TI accomplishes this, MSS does not.

I agree between the 2 go for TI...MSS is considered a downtowner...stay on the strip...Ti is central on the strip...pirate ship fight ,the volcano,Mystere',the Venetian canals,etc...ck out cheaovegas.com for reviews...esp. if your 1st visit...can`t beat the location...ck on travelocity.com for prices and then ck hotel websites for better prices...unless you would feel more comfortable downtown...too dingy for me and boring.... alot of older people love it there ..it is more low key...

jean Jan 7th, 2002 10:32 AM

Well I took all of everyones advice. I will be staying at TI in a petite mini suite for $120.00/ night in sept. How's that price guys? On the TI's web site it was listed for $500.00/ night when I called they quoted the above price.

Wendy Jan 7th, 2002 11:45 AM

Have fun Jean!

think your going to be happy there...go to Mystere...and try O'sheas casino, an annex of the Flamingo across the street from the TI,if you like small casinos...love it and the Barbary Coast to gamble....and HAVE FUN!!!!
