Condos on Oahu?
Does anyone have recommendations on condos for a two week stay on Oahu that are near a good beach?
|
Oh, yes! Aston Waikiki Beach Tower ( NOT the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, which is a few blocks away). We stayed there last summer for ten days and loved it. We had a two-bedroom corner condo with stunning views of the ocean and Diamond Head. The condo had a big living room, dining room, newly renovated kitchen, newly renovated baths, washer/dryer, and two good-sized bedrooms. It is directly across the street from Waikiki's public beach, and only a short walk from the International Marketplace ( in one direction) and the zoo ( in the other direction.)
There is a small pool in the complex, and an excellent fitness club which the condo sells passes to only a block away. My only word of warning about the condos is that some are newly renovated and some are not, so make sure you ask if you're interested. Check out Aston's website because they often have very good deals. The two-bedroom that we rented last summer was less than we paid for two much smaller rooms at the Hilton the previous summer. |
Any other recommendations?

Waikiki Shore (next to Outrigger Hotel) is a condo building right on Waikiki beach in a great location next to Fort de Russy park.
Renting thru VRBO is another way people often find condos. |
Aston Waikiki Sunset (1 & 2 bdrm) & Aston Waikiki Banyan (1 bdrm). Sunset was recently renovated.
As Suze mentioned, vrbo has a lot of good deals. Many have free parking. Oahu: http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/hawaii/oahu Waikiki: http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals...h-oahu/waikiki Use this link to locate Waikiki condos: http://www.hicondos.com/neighborhood...te/Waikiki.asp |
Thanks for all the suggestions.
