CONDO in Kihei/Wailea in 2008??
We are RCI members but it seems like it's impossible to find a condo in Maui. We want to go as a family next yr. (Gma, Gpa, mom, dad, 3 children 2, 6 & 8 yrs.) and are comfortable in S. Kihei area. We would love a 3 bedroom condo but I can't seem to find one so would love recommendations for 1 bedroom units or a 2-bedroom and 1 bedroom unit. We have seen Kameole Sands and that seems quite nice but I'd prefer to have a condo on the ground floor. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it seems like we should be already booking for next yr.

This is the 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom ground floor unit we stayed at Kamaole Sands. It was great.
http://www.vrbo.com/global/siteframe...vrbo/24976.htm I think the same folks have a second unit but I don't know anything about it - except that I THINK it's in the same building on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Our unit was very well-maintained, so I would think their other unit would be too. Ken |
Hale Kamaole has some two bdrm, 2 bt, that have nice loft areas for additional sleepers. It's like having a 3rd bdrm.

Thanks for your responses. Lord Balfour - what bldg. were you in at Kameole Sands? Our friends were on the ground floor in front of a lovely grassed area, just a short walk to the pool and I think it was bldg. 2. It was a nice complex.

Jumpy -
It was building 5, unit 101 (south end of building) - back above and behind the pool. No view because of a nearby hedge, but very quite and private. I have a few photos of the unit & complex (as well as a complex map) here: http://travel.webshots.com/album/356296891IkNsBg Ken |
