Comedy Clubs for Teens?

Any suggestions for teen-friendly comedy clubs in NYC?

Going out on a limb here, I would guess no. Most, if not all comedy clubs charge a hefty cover and a minimum.

Have you checked any type of Kids/New York City guidebooks? That may help you.

Don't know about comedy clubs, but if laughs are what you're looking for "Forbidden Broadway" at the Douglas Fairbanks Theater might do the trick for you. The show, updated every year, takes good natured pokes at just about everything Broadway from current offerings to beloved old traditions. If your teen loves theater, it might be just the ticket.

The quality of the comedy can be hit or miss but if you like improv and/or sketch comedy (not standup), Upright Citizen's Brigade has some funny shows. The quality varies wildly - if it's the resident troupe of improv students who are learning their craft at UCB it's usually spotty at best but guest troupes appear their regularly and are sometimes very good. Subject matter and thems can be a bit lewd at times.

Cover charge is usually only $5 and when I've been much of the crowd was in their late teens and early twenties.
