combined tour to Graceland and Sun Studio?
 

It seems like I read somewhere that there is a tour bus that goes to both Sun Studio and Graceland. We'll be driving to Memphis, but if we can, we'd rather find a tour bus that goes to both places than to drive there.

I don't have personal experience, but Fodorite bachslunch did this a few months ago. Here's the itinerary/trip report - specifically look at Jan 23. Might give you some other ideas as well.

Funny you should mention Million Dollar Quartet :-) We have tickets to see it in July at the Apollo theater in Chicago. Can't wait! Every review I've seen has been good.

It was GREAT! My favorite show during a Broadway week..with tickets to highly anticipated shows. I bought my MDQ tickets at the 1/2price booth - and it was the deal of the trip.

You'll love it!

I bought our tickets for half price too, through www.goldstar.com. I have no idea what the seats will be like, though, as they assign them before you pick them up. We've used goldstar once before, and seats were fine, so hopefully...

The trip to Memphis was planned a few months ago and just saw tickets for Million Dollar Quartet by chance. However, it did occur to me how much it would add to our experience of seeing Sun Studio. Will let you know how the tour goes.

When we went to New York a couple of years ago, we planned on seeing only one show -- Lion King -- but just by chance I got tickets to All Shook Up at a very reasonable price, and we loved it! Sometimes those shows you end up seeing just by chance turn out to be really wonderful.
