Combination Ski/Golf vacation possible? When?
 

My husbands dream birthday gift is a ski/golf vacation for him and a buddy.

is it possible to combine these 2 into one 5 day trip?

if so - where? and what time of year?

This is very possible in Denver/Vail-Breck-Keystone. There's a chance you can do that any time during the winter, but late March, early April is an excellent time.

It is very possible in the Spring at Lake Tahoe. Spring Skiing at Heavenly, Squaw Valley, Alpine can last until April. And the golf either at the Lake (Edgewood, Incline, etc) or over the hill in Reno is really good.

I think it would be a great trip to spend a couple of days at the broadmoor then to Vail for some great spring skiing. You should go too!

You can also ski Snowbird and Alta and golf at many areas in SLC. Lots of people do this in April. Ski in the morning, golf in the afternoon.
