Howie: Thank you for reporting back on my wonderful home town. I am really quite surprised at how far afield you were able to walk from the Mariott. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. It sounds like you did many of my favorite things during your weekend stay.

To jdraper - The walking was not a big deal for us. Waslking around DC is one of our favorite leisure activities. Often on a weekend day we will walk maybe 3 or 4 miles around town. Occasionally, especially if it is nice weatherwise, we will walk 10 - 12 miles in a day.
