Colorado Springs restaurants

I will be visiting Colorado Springs, CO in early November with a group of 15. We will be attending a conference so there won't be much time for sightseeing. Could anyone recommend some good places to eat for a big group? We would like to enjoy our evenings since the day will be mostly business.
Thanks!

What about Phantom Canyon Brewing Co.? Will that fit our group? Any good pizza places?

What about the nightlife?

I just learned that we may not have a rental car. Are there taxis, buses, etc? Is it necessary to have a car?

Thanks!

Where will the conference be in Colorado Springs?

The city is very spread out and if you don't have your own transportation it will be difficult to get to some places. The bus system has expanded, but it is still somewhat limited. There is a cab service, but you have to call for pick-up and can wait a long time.

The conference will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. My group is staying at Doubletree World Arena.
