Mid-Michigan has great color in selected spots. I love the drive across town to our new Ice Arena because the trees along the freeway are all reds, oranges and yellows.

Yes, SuzieTrue, by me as well in Northern IL. They are like lines of colorful ribbons as far as I can see, coming down the road and into the valley before the bridge over the Des Plaines R. and the I & M Canal. It's like dropping into a bowl of wild color.

Lolo12:

I hope the wedding goes well!

Our daughter and son in law married on Columbus Day weekend here 12 years ago and lucked out! It was 74 outside, clear blue ski, and full foliage, with gorgeous colored leaves swirling around their horse-drawn buggy as they left the church for the reception! We'll never forget it!

Yes, they still live in the area, and we retired here several years ago, so we're blessed by views of gorgeous Vermont mountains all around us all the time -- and we love them in ALL seasons!
