Coin-op Laundry Near Downtown Seattle?
Leaving Monday for a Pacific NW backpacking trip. Will return to Seattle with a day to do grown up stuff like laundry before my wife joins me. The hotel I'm staying in downtown Seattle does not have self-service laundry facilities.
Does anyone know of one within walking distance (about one mile or so) from Pike Market? A Google search turns up this one, which would work: http://crystalcleanlaundry.com/find-us-here But if anyone knows of another option that would be appreciated. |
I believe Crystal is your best option; it is clean and well organized. Take the #43 bus from 4th and Pike (it leaves every 15 minutes). Pay when you get off the bus and save your transfer, which you can use to pay for the return trip.
HTTY PS There used to be a coin laundry on 2nd Ave and Olive where there is now reasonably priced Long Provential Vietnamnese restaurant. Mae Phim Thai at 213 Pike Street is reasonable and good, too. |
Perfect. Thanks much and also for the restaurant recommendations. I'm staying at the Moore so am next to both places.
Looking forward to it! |
Enjoy.
My favorite happy hour is at Palomino--a nice place upstairs at 1420 5th Avenue (Pike Street). Food and drink are both at good prices--3 p.m. to closing every day of the week: http://www.palomino.com/menus/resour...Sleeve0709.pdf HTTY |
