I would suggest flying into Jackson Hole rather than Cody as far as I know Cody airport is much smaller and you should get better flights into Jackson Hole from Boston. You could stay in Jackson Hole or closer to the Tetons. Then spend time in Yellowstone. We stayed in Old Faithful Lodge and really enjoyed it there. You should also book your room in Yellowstone as soon as possible to get what you want.If you get a chance I would also suggest a stop in Cody to see the Buffalo Bill Museum which is excellent.

Hi D,
Why 3 days in Laramie? Do you have something special to do there? 2 days in Yellowstone is not NEARLY enough. There is much more to see and do there than just Old Faithful. Other geysers, wildlife, rivers, waterfalls, etc. are actually much more beautiful and amazing. I would spend at least 4 days in Yellowstone maybe in 2 different locations, it's a big place.

We loved Cody, especially the museum there. I can very highly recommend the Chamberlin Inn in Cody. Excellent accommodations and location.
Check prices for all area airports to help make your decision.
We flew in/out Jackson Hole because it was a good deal for us and put us closer to GTNP and Yellowstone than flying into SLC did. Besides Jackson, Cody, and SLC, there's also Billings and Idaho Falls.
Like Dayle, I'd like to hear more about your itinerary and if there's a special reason you are visiting some of these places.

If you do stop off in Laramie you might consider taking a side trip up into the Medicine Bow National Forest for a view of Lake Marie, the peak, etc. It is a pleasant drive and the forest entrance is just above Centenniel a brief 33 miles away.
Also on your way from Laramie to Cheyenne you might find the rock formations at Vedauvoo worth checking out.

On our Sept trip to Yellowstone, we spent 2 nights each in Old Faithful Snow Lodge, Mammoth Hot Springs cabin, and Canyon cabin (in that order). 6 nights in YNP was barely enough - we loved it. If you can find reasonable flights to Jackson, that would be ideal. There is so much to see and do between the Tetons/YNP and all the scenic roads and small towns all around the parks. Just be sure to give Yellowstone enough time. My pictures are posted here is you are interested: C:\Documents and Settings\Sharon DiLorenzo\My Documents\My Pictures\Yelowstone 06
