Cody, WY --suggestions for short stop?

We will be passing through Cody on our way to Yellowstone, and want to stop and look around at shops, etc. We don't have time for a museum, but is there any particular shop or unique place that should not be missed? Offbeat and quirky a plus. We will probably have a limit of two hours.

Thanks so much!

The museum in Cody is amazing, really good. If nothing else, hit their gift shop!

I totally agree. To go to Cody and not visit the museum is really a big mistake! It's by far the best thing to do in that town.

Which museum are you guys referring to? The Buffalo Bill one?

Yes!

Thanks for the advice, HowardR and StantonHyde. Can't wait to get back up that way!

The museum really is world class. We had a lot of fun at the rodeo as well - not something I thought we would like but we did! If you are there during a meal time, I recommend the historic Irma. We loved our dinner so much we went back the next day for lunch!
