Has anyone stayed at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach? Thoughts?

I have never stayed at the Hampton. However we go to Cocoa every year and stay at a wonderful little family owned place called Surf Studio Beach Resort. It has only 11 units and is immaculately kept. They are only a few yards from the beach with a very nice pool, grill, and deck area. Their website is www.surf-studio.com

Hi,The Hampton and the Holiday Inn Resort are both nice. We stayed at the Holiday Inn resort on the beach with a poolside room(great pool and seperate pool for kids!).Room was large with a nice patio. You must ask for these rooms as there are only 4 or so. We paid $84.00 a night for that nice room booking through the internet on Expedia as we always do to save money. Web were very happy there. Good Luck<BR>Sandy Schaub

Here's another vote for the Holiday Inn resort in Cocoa Beach, but the advice about room selection is important. A number of rooms face the parking lots and you definitely want something facing inward; poolside is great. There are also some really nice room locations in the 700-series numbered building that faces the beach (again, not many -- but well worth it, if you can get in that building).
