Cleveland W/9 Yr. Old
My wife and I will be taking our grandson to Cleveland, July 12-13-14, staying downtown. Going to an Indians game one day. Where could I find out if there are plays or concerts to fill the other two days. Thanks for your help.

For very general information about plays and concerts try www.cleveland.com and look under entertainment. For more specific information go to www.playhousesquare.com and check under "4kids".

You might also want to consider taking your grandson to the Great Lakes Science Center -- it's one of those interactive, "let's make science fun for kids" kind of places: more info at www.glsc.org.

Doesn't fall under the category of plays or concerts, but Cleveland has a pretty good zoo. www.clemetzoo.com

Six flags is east of Cleveland in Aurora. They combined Sea World and Geagua Lake Parks. Also, if he is into sports the Pro Football Hall of Fame is in Canton.
|
The Six Flags was a good suggestion, but don't forget about Cedar Point. It's close to Cleveland too.

The Planetarium is great! Go to:http://www.cmnh.org/planetarium/ for information.
