Cleveland Hotel Help

Will be staying in Cleve.in Aug.for 2 days.Going to a Tribe game & Rock HOF.Which hotel would be better,Hyatt at Arcade,Renaissance,or Wyndham playhouse? Will be with my wife& 16 yo daughter.I heard the rooms at the Renaissance are small, but I probally can get this hotel from Priceline for $55.Are they that bad? Should I look into the other hotels? Would also like to be within walking distance to both,is this possible? Thanks to all replies!!!

Ronzo,

The Renaissance is a pretty nice hotel it attached to the Tower City Center complex - indoor shopping/dining, alsointhe complex is a Ritz Carlton. If you can get the Renaissance for $55 I'd snag it in a heartbeat. I don't thinkt he rooms are small, you can always ask to see another if you think it's stamp size. You can walk to the Jake from there, the Rock Hall is a little bit further North, about a $2-3 cab fare, or can take the rapid from tower city over, however it is totally walkable ona nice day.

I really like the Hyatt, they just renovated the arcade and it is centrally located, they just opened a Vivo last Fall there- it is very good.

Ronzo - If you stay at the Renaissance, you'll be directly connected to Tower City. On the first level of TC (near the food court) is a walkway that leads directly to both the Gund arena, and Jacobs field, about 1 block away. Your daughter may enjoy eating at the Hard Rock Cafe, also located in Tower City-entrance on 3rd level, merchandise shop on 2nd level.

For a fancier (read pricier) dinner, consider something in the warehouse district - you won't go wrong with any of the choices - just depends on what you have a taste for.

$55 for a room at the Renaissance would be a good deal - the hotel is absolutely beautiful !

Enjoy Cleveland !

Cleveland rocks ! ! !

The Renaissance is a great place.

Loved the R&R HOF Museum. Give yourself plenty of time to getthru all the exhibits.

Definitely stay at the Rennaisance. Second choice would by Hyatt. Both are within walking distance of Jacob's Field and RHOF. The Wyndham is too far east.
