Clearwater, St Petes or Sarasota? - I am considering visiting one of these as a relaxing week after a week in Orlando. <BR><BR>Which would you choose? Any recommendations for things to do (as well as the beach)?<BR><BR>Thanks in advance for any help!<BR><BR>

I live north of Clearwater. In answer to your question, it depends, how old are you? Over 50, definitely St. Petersburg; over 70, go to Sarasota; enjoy water sports, or young active community, go to Clearwater!

I would suggest the Sheraton on Sand Key (Clearwater). It is very relaxing and quiet with a nice beach and pool.

Right off the coast of Sarasota is Siesta Key. Literally right off the coast. Great beaches, more of a resort feeling, and at the same time relatively quiet.

I love St. Pete. We go at least 2-3 times a year. Dali museum is great! Clearwater is also nice. I don't know about Sarasota.
