South to Indian Rocks and try Guppy's. Fine beers on draft and excellent seafood.

We enjoyed Crabby Bill's (facing the Gulf) for seafood, though the photographer/trinket mongerer was slightly annoying.

Ditto what westiedogs said, especially Bobby's Bistro and Island Way Grill.

Will check them all out. Got some good suggestions from Paul Hagan and Bill Conlon who write for the Philadelphia Daily News. They both pick "Lenny's" for breakfast.

I also like Guppy's and Keegan's. Another one to try in that area (3-4 miles south of Clearwater Beach) is the Salt Rock Grill. You might also enjoy The Columbia on Sand Key (about a mile south)for fabu Spanish food.

Oh...best breakfast is about 7 miles down the beach (south) in North Redington Beach. The Frog Pond...home of the 7-egg omelet. I recommend the Frog Benedict...

Oh...best breakfast for miles around is about 7 miles down the beach (south) at The Frog Pond in North Redington Beach. Creative omelets, benedicts, frittatas, and crepes rule...not to mention the killer hash browns. Portions are huge, quality is top notch, and establishment is relatively small. Put your name on the list, and take a pre-breakfast beach stroll...the Frog Pond is right across the street from the Gulf.
