Cirque in Orlando
Has anyone been to this show recently? We're taking two teenaged boys to Orlando for a long weekend in November and this might be something different to do beyond golf and theme parks. Just wondering what its like, etc? We've been to Blue Man Group so if you tell me that its undescribeable, I understand.

I think they would love it..I have seen several including O and I actually like La Nouba the best....some of the acts I think would appeal to them like extreme bicycle stunts, etc...it was very modern and not as "whimsical" as Varakei was, it has a darker side, I would go for it !

Loved it. That simple.
|
It is the usual, very high quality Cirque show..lots of action and not-to-be-believed acrobatics thrown in...as always, and in its own way, UNforgettable!
|
Which production is it? I've seen 3 and dearly loved them all. I may try and give tickets to a young relative who'll be in Orlando after Christmas. Would someone please tell me how much the tickets cost? I think we paid around $100 each in Las Vegas.
|
they are about $87 each on ticketmaster. the cirque website has a little description of the show as well.

This is the most spectacular show you will ever see. I hear the prices are now outrageous, but well worth it. Get your tickets well in advance because they sell out quickly. My 19 year old son loved it, and he is kind of hard to please in the entertainment department. I can't wait to go again.

I've been to La Nouba three times and always bought my tickets on Ebay for half the normal price. Just something to consider...
By the way, I agree it's better than "O." I'm so sorry I spent $115 per ticket for that one! |
I believe La Nouba is unique to Disney/Orlando. Your teenage boys might also like DisneyQuest in the same area. Huge video game/virutal reality complex. Several restaurants right there, too, since it's at the West End of Pleasure Island and adjacent to Disney Village.
Have fun! |
I think they would love it! The show is amazing and the time flies by! DH was skeptical about going and ended up LOVING it!
I also agree with Dreamer2 about DisneyQuest. It's an indoor (3-4 floors) interactive amusement park! Lots of virtual reality and other great games - design and ride your own roller coaster, 3-D Pirates of the Caribbean where you're in a ship and either steering or firing cannons, etc. This is a favorite for my boys! |
