Christopher Street - Greenwich Village
I understand in Manhattan there is a street fair in the spring most years called the Christopher Street Fair or Christopher Street Flea Market located in Greenwich Village.
Anyone know if there is one this year and if so when is it scheduled?
Thanks loads!

Chris:
The spring and summer months brings street fairs to Manhattan streets almost every weekend. Although I don't know when exactly the fair is, checking online resources such as citysearch.comor nytoday.com should get you info on what's going on. The Christopher St festival is really not much different than any other street fair in Manhattan (The largest St fair is the Columbus Ave St. Fair, which usually stretches about 25 blocks long). If, however, you are looking for a street fair that has a lesbian and gay theme, I would suggest the month of June, which is Gay Pride Month. There is an annual street party called The Garden Party', which always kicks off Pride month, with this year being on June 24th.
Also, there is a street fair in the Village right on Pride Day, which is always the last Sunday in June, with this year being on June 30th.
