christmas vacation
 

Hi, I was hoping to find a resort/hotel package for a few days over the Christmas holiday. We are an older family, myself, sister and brother-in-law in our late forties/early fifties and my dad, in his eighties. I'd like a place that would have some activities and special holiday events such as special Christmas dinner, etc. My dad prefers the east coast around Vero Beach, etc. Doesn't need to be particularly fancy, either We really don't want Orlando. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

If you father prefers Verno Beach, why not indulge him? It may add to your enjoyment knowing you are catering to your patriarch's preferences.

Hi, Well, yes, I was hoping to find a resort around that area because he prefers it. I was looking for suggestions/recommendations for a resort/hotel in that area that would have special holiday events. Ideas welcomed :)

Disney has a time share resort in Vero Beach and Disney does the holidays up with a bang!

I would think over the holidays a condo would be much nicer than a hotel.

If you decide on the west coast, the Hotel Del Coronado resort is a beautiful place to stay, especially during the Christmas Holiday..the christmas dinner buffet is served in the stunning Crown Room and its just a lovely place to be..most of us San Diegan's go to the Hotel Del for Christmas because the place is a must see every year..
Tell your Dad its where "Some like it
Hot" was filmed..

Expedia has the Hotel Del for $250 a night from Dec 23-27..just thought you should know..

Hi, Thanks, that Hotel Del looks lovely but we would be wanting Florida. When I was refering to east or west coast I meant the coasts of Florida. Any other suggestions?
