Christmas season on Nantucket.

Hi,
Can anyone comment on their experience out on Nantucket during the holiday season? Obviously beach activities would be extremely limited. But with fewer crowds, Christmas lights on display, and maybe a bit of hiking around it might be interesting. Thanks!

Pete I've never been at this time of year but you've just missed the Christmas Stroll this weekend. Check the website http://www.nantucketchamber.org/visitor/events.html

It's picturesque. But it can be quite raw outside. That's the north Atlantic to the south and east. Get a 30-knot wind off the ocean, and a 30-degree temperature, and you might get a new definition of interesting....

Good point Bookhall---but just think how much the kids will appreciate me when I say: "Sit down and lets talk for awhile..."
The wind will be screaming outside and
they'll be at my feet in the lotus position!!! :-)
Thanks.

Got that right, Pete! You will, indeed, be the master of their universe...
