Christmas on Amelia Island
 

I'll be in Amelia Island from 12/23 to 12/25, staying at RC. Can anyone tell me if the stores, parks, restaurants open on the 24th and 25th?

Amelia & Fernandina are pretty small & most of the shops are family-owned, I'd wager that they'd be open for a short time (maybe) on Xmas Eve but definitely not on Xmas Day.

Hey, Jesse, I'll be there, too, over Christmas. The Ritz is having three Christmas dinners, ranging from $35 to $90. <BR><BR>There are a couple more restaurants, too, but I can't recall them at the moment. I found this info at www.ameliaisland.com under "holiday info."<BR><BR>

Jesse,<BR><BR> For the 24th retail will probably be open til 5-6pm. <BR> Other than the Ritz there are several B&B's. I imagine the one's with small restaurants attached will be open the the 24th and 25th.<BR> Elizabeth's Pointe is Oceanfront, serves lunch, to those other than their guest.<BR> Florida Inn on 4th off of Main Street Street has a restaurant attached, will probably be open. Homestyle-originally a railroad boarding house.<BR> Brett's on the Water, I don't know their holiday schedule. They are closed Mondays. It's at the end of the historic Main Street at the Marina.<BR> The RC will probably have several things planned. They typically have an elegant Tea. $25.00 a person.<BR> Best Wishes, Sophie<BR> <BR>
