Christmas Day in Key West

My family and I will be arriving in Key West for the first time on Christmas Day. Can anyone suggest a restaurant that will be open for dinner that evening? My concern is that everything will be closed on Christmas Day. Thanks for your help.

For something fancy, Alices or Michaels. For something Key Westy, Half Shell Raw Bar.

That is high season in Key West...all the hotels will be full, so most of the restaurants will be open. There's going to be plenty to choose from :-)

I saw a really nice meal being planned at Alice's. It's kind of a fixed menu, but hugely appealing for a wonderful Christmas feast. It's like $49 a person.. a steal when you consider how much work it is to create a meal like this for a family. Anyway.. I was thinking about it myself as we will be there as well.

I'm not so sure you can expect many restaurants to be open on Christmas day. The hotel restaurants? Absolutely. But I'd be surprised if many restaurants not connected with hotels are open. Personally, I love Alice's and am sure her food will be great. I also like Michaels a lot, but dunno if it'll be open...ditto Half Shell Raw Bar.
