Christmas day dinner in Los Angeles?

Does anyone know any good restaurants that will be open Christmas day for a family dinner? Don't want to take the hotel dining route...

It's a big city. Are you looking for a reataurant in any particular area?

Locanda Del Lago will be open on Christmas. Delicious northern Italian cuisine. It's at 231 Arizona Ave., Santa Monica, tel: (310) 451-3525.

In Seattle the McCormick & Schmick's restaurants are among the very few non-hotel restaurants serving on Christmas Day. Here they are featuring prime rib and the regular menu. Perhaps the LA area restaurants in this group are also serving on the 25th.

What is the objection to eating in a hotel dining room? In Seattle, the Fish Club--a Todd English restaurant located in a hotel--is serving on Christmas Day. The food at the Fish Club is excellent.
