Christmas boat parade in Ft. Lauderdale
 

It seems like I read somewhere that the Ft. Lauderdale area has a lighted boat parade sometime around Christmas. We will be there from Dec. 22 until January and hope we can see it. Does anyone know where and when it is?

Thank you for reminding me. We will be in Lauderdale from Dec 22-31. Let me do some research on this. We have at least three boats from our Yacht Club that participate in this. What what I hear it is quite the show. I will try to find out.

I think it starts sometime around 7 pm at Port Everglades and works its way up the intercoastal as far as Pompano Beach. I'm sure if you want the exact details you could do a websearch on the words "fort lauderdale winterfest boat parade 2001" and you'd get all you need to know.
