Chocolate Bar/Buffet in Boston??

Anyone been to the chocolate bar/buffet in Boston in the Langham Hotel. How was it? Worth the trip (and calories)?

I'm amazed someone would come here for that! Interesting.

No, I am not coming to Boston because of it. I already have a trip planned. Was curious to whether I should add it in as something to do.

I haven't been but I've heard it's fabulous. Check with the Langham though because I think they may only do it seasonally.

It was a staple of the Meridien before it became the Langham. I wish I would have gone once back in the days when it was $9/pp. It is now $25/pp which--to me--is a lot for all desserts!! I think it is offered on Saturdays only...altho not completely sure about that.

My husband and I went twice when it was still the Meridien. I think we paid around $20 each then, and thought it was worth it. However, we were only "traveling" from the suburbs.

If you are in Harvard Square try L.A. Burdick on Brattle street. They make delightful chocolate mice with silk tails. They make a nice gift in the wooden box.

I bought the "ghosts"as a hostess gift.

Hey, I bought those mice from there through their ad in the New Yorker Magazine..
